In Partnership with the Pasadena Complete Streets Coalition, Day One offers free hands on bike repair workshops in the community.  Workshops include basic bike repair and maintenance lessons.

The Rethink Your Drink Program is a public health initiative led by the CA Department of Public Health that raises awareness about the health risks associated with drinking sugar-sweetened beverages.The HCI team hosts Rethink Your Drink lessons for students and our communities at local events and in classrooms.

Day One’s nutrition education classes are funded from the Champions for Change program by the CA Department of Public Health. MyPlate is a guide and visual reminder to find your balanced healthy eating style that is maintained and practiced each meal.
