Living Infrastructure For All is a water education program created by Day One with the support of the LA County’s Safe, Clean Water Program and the Water Foundation.

WHY WATER?

WHAT ARE THE ACTIVITIES?

WHERE WILL ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE?

Water connects us all and all living organisms need clean water to flourish. Unfortunately, water is regularly polluted which requires planning to help ensure that enough clean water is available to all.

Through a series of seminars, tours, outreach events, education materials, and social media materials, Living Infrastructure For All seeks to engage and educate residents on an array of topics related to water.

Activities will take place throughout the Rio Hondo Watershed Area and the City of Pico Rivera. All residents are welcome in all actives, even if not residing in the service area.

WASC meetings take place monthly and welcome all residents to provide public comment, either written or in person. Comments can speak to specific project ideas, or discuss water priorities in the many communities of Los Angeles County.

ROC meetings take place monthly and allow public comment to help steer and advance SCWP goals and objectives. Attendees will learn about the state of the SCWP, program goals, and progress made so far.

This survey allows residents to express their priorities regarding stormwater and present ideas for potential project concepts. The SCWP will utilize community needs and perspectives to strengthen the achievement of SCWP Goals and beyond.
