About the event

  • This is a great class to learn all about riding in traffic using principles of vehicular cycling.
  • It's also the prerequisite class for becoming a League Cycling Instructor (LCI).
  • If you think you might want to become an LCI, this is where to start!
  • The class is 8 hours long.
  • The first half is "classroom" instruction, and the second half is on-bike.
  • No matter how experienced you are, you will learn from this class.
  • The emergency maneuvers taught during the on-bike instruction could save your life one day (seriously).
TEACHING BICYCLING SKILLS AND BUILDING CONFIDENCE TO RIDE Education has been a core activity of the League since the 1970s. Virtually every state and local bicycling education program can trace its roots directly back to the League’s program. Our education programs are designed to reach people of all ages and abilities by improving skills, building confidence, and teaching others.
